Since re-opening in December 2010, The Prince of Wales has become an increasingly popular town venue. The first floor, also known as the Coal Hole has the feel of a traditional English pub and shows live sport, including live premiereship football. The second floor has a more modern, spacious and stylish interior and is perfect for drinks or a meal.

Largely popular for lunch, the food is stylish, contemporary and showcases local produce at great value for money. The menu offers local favourites such as moules a la crème and our homemade gourmet burgers to name but two.

During the week, food is also served in the evenings and both floors offer a relaxing and friendly atmosphere; ideal for post work drinks. At the weekends the pub really livens up and offers a great night out in the heart of town.

Lunch is served Monday-Saturday from 12-2:30 pm and dinner Monday-Thursday from 6-9 pm.
